The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee

A late-ish lunch into tea party – Village Hall from 2.00pm

Would everyone bring a plate or plates to share – hot or cold: starters, mains, sides, sandwiches, scones, cakes, puddings. Anything and everything to set a welcoming table from lunch through to tea. A little nearer the time we shall meet to finalise the detailed planning.

• We will use the crockery, cutlery, glasses and mugs available at the hall.
• Tea, coffee and soft drinks provided – bring your own alcoholic beverages
• If the weather is good please bring chairs or rugs.
• Possibility of some simple games – to be arranged

To commemorate Her Majesty’s wonderful achievement each Covington home will receive a Celebratory gift in the form of an especially crested porcelain mug. Additionally, each child in the village aged 16 and under will be gifted a Royal Mint celebratory coin.
